Getting it done.
My style is straightforward: I get s**t done. No fluff, no faffing around. But don’t confuse efficiency with corner-cutting, I aim for the best possible outcomes, balancing user needs, business goals, and top-quality execution. Life’s short, let's cut the nonsense.

I execute. AI assists.
I’m super into AI, there, I said it. I use it for productivity every day, to improve my workflows, ideate, challenge me, push myself further (practice Mandarin). I love imagining ways AI can reshape experiences and redefine what's possible, not replacing human ability, amplifying it. I'm here for it.

Beyond pushing pixels.
It's not all playing with crayons! I use my 20ish years of experience, instincts and discovery-driven insights to bring strategic thinking at any level you'll let me sink my teeth into. I'll seek to raise the bar across strategy, ways of working, culture and design quality.

I <3 design systems.
Token-driven, component-based, auto-layout-everything. If you’re not there yet, no worries, you will be soon. This is how we scale, how we stay consistent, and how we move fast. And it's honestly one of my favourite places to nerd out.

Real UX, no performance.
Design thinking isn’t a bootcamp checklist, it’s a toolbox. I apply what actually makes sense for the context, not what looks good in a case study. No wasted time on performative UX. Real discovery, real insights, real impact.

Craft is king.
I care about detail, like when to use 16px vs when to use 24px. For me, high quality execution isn't optional, it's fundamental. But we can still have fun with it.

Not a dev but...
I coded my first website in ’97 and made bank (in Neopoints) hustling Neopets websites in the noughties. I can build a flexbox layout from scratch and I know my way around front-end solutions. All this to say, I’m not a dev, but I get dev, and that helps. A bunch.

No wireframes here (fight me).
Unless there’s a very good reason, I prefer to jump quickly from rough sketches and flows to high-fidelity designs. Why? Because users experience real, live, full-colour products, not endless black and white boxes. Skip the greyscale purgatory.

Design should be fun.
Yes, we're solving problems, but we're also exploring ideas, experimenting, being artistic, bold and colourful. We're creating delightful things from nothing. Great design thrives on curiosity, creativity and a healthy dose of play. If we're not enjoying it, we're doing something wrong.

Values matter.
I'm open about my values. I look to collaborate with people who share them, in spaces where genuine positive impact means something. That’s non-negotiable for me.

Good vibes.
As a leader, I’m here to nurture creativity, support growth and foster a culture that makes designers feel empowered, confident, and yes, happy. Because happier teams genuinely produce better results. (Also, happy teams are just more fun.)

Working smarter (with a little help).
I’m super into AI. It’s part of my daily workflow, for boosting productivity, bouncing ideas, automating the boring stuff, challenging my thinking… even practising Mandarin. I love imagining how AI can stretch what’s possible, not to replace human creativity, but to amplify it. I’m here for it.
